RILIAN today announced that it has raised 17.5 million in combined seed and seed extension funding, in a round led by 8VC, First In, and Tamarack Global, with additional support from 8090 Industries, Liquid 2 Ventures, Perot Jain, and Protego Ventures, according to SecurityWeek. The McLean, VA‑based startup, founded in 2024, describes itself as an agentic systems integrator and technology provider that uses AI to offer defence capabilities to government, critical infrastructure, and law enforcement organisations.
It has built Caspian, an agentic security orchestration platform that provides cyber and defence technology and autonomous delivery capabilities, with a single view across stacks and toolsets. The funding will support growth of marketing and engineering teams, ongoing R&D, and expansion across the US, the GCC countries, and other allied nations, with existing partnerships involving SentinelOne, Censys, and SimSpace to advance cyber defences for critical infrastructure.
