Meta Unveils Ray-Ban Display: Smart Glasses with a Built-In Screen

At Connect 2025, Meta officially unveiled its first smart glasses with a built-in display — the Ray-Ban Display — confirming that the device will launch in the United States on 30 September at a retail price of $799. The rollout will begin through physical outlets including Best Buy, LensCrafters, Ray-Ban boutiques, and Verizon, with global expansion planned for early 2026 to markets such as Canada, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

The Ray-Ban Display features a “high-resolution” heads-up display and a water-resistant design, and it will be released alongside the refreshed second generation of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses and the Oakley Meta Vanguard. Interaction is enabled through gesture control, with the option to pair the glasses with the Meta Neural Band EMG wristband, a water-resistant accessory included with every unit.

Functionality spans photo capture, live subtitles, Spotify playback, first-person livestreaming, and calendar integration, with real-time translation, conversation focus, and the Live AI feature enabling continuous interaction with Meta AI.
