Torq Raises $140 Million at $1.2 Billion Valuation

Torq, the Agentic AI security operations company, has raised $140 million in a Series D round, lifting its valuation to $1.2 billion and bringing total funding to $332 million. The investment round was led by Merlin Ventures, with participation from prior backers including Bessemer Venture Partners, Evolution Equity Partners, Greenfield Partners, Insight Partners, and Notable Capital, according to Merlin Ventures.

Founded in 2020 and based in Tel Aviv, Torq has built an AI-powered hyperautomation security operations centre platform that aims to detect and respond to security events at scale and reduce alert fatigue and false positives. The firm says its AI-enabled SOC platform automates investigation, triage, and remediation for global enterprises and government entities, with easy deployment and integrations via natural language prompts.

The funds will be used to scale the AI SOC platform and accelerate adoption in commercial and government markets, with Torq already claiming customers among Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of multinational enterprises and offices in Israel, Canada, the US, and Europe. The news was reported by SecurityWeek on 12 January 2026.
