Eurofiber admits crooks swiped data from French unit after cyberattack

Eurofiber says cybercriminals swiped data during an attack on its French unit last week, with only the French business affected and other operations in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands considered safe. The firm confirmed that the breach targeted its ticket management platform, and attackers stole the data stored there, though banking details and other critical data were not involved and the vulnerability has now been patched.

The French unit affected includes its cloud division and regional brands Eurafibre, FullSave, Netiwan and Avelia. The company did not disclose the scale of the incident or how many individuals in France were affected. According to The Register, the incident occurred on 13 November.
