Bob Flores, Former CTO of the CIA, Joins Brinker
According to CyberNewsWire, Brinker, the narrative intelligence company focused on mitigating disinformation and influence campaigns, announced that Bob Flores, the former Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, has joined its advisory board on 4 November 2025. Flores’ appointment aims to bolster Brinker’s mission to move from detection to real-time, technology-driven mitigation at global scale, leveraging his background in intelligence and technology.
The company describes Brinker as a Native AI platform that identifies, analyses, and neutralises harmful narratives across platforms, languages and geographies, with a proprietary LLM tracing how stories evolve. Flores is quoted saying Brinker’s AI-native approach enables responses that were previously impossible, turning real-time analysis and large-scale mitigation into a reality. The press also notes Brinker’s recent expansion of its advisory board, including Avi Kastan, former CEO and Co-Founder of Sixgill.
Flores’ post-CIA work includes founder roles and advisory experience in security, underpinning Brinker’s objective of providing automated OSINT technology to government and global partners.
