DARKTRACE has unveiled Darktrace / SECURE AI, a new product within its ActiveAI Security Platform designed to secure AI across the entire enterprise, with the aim of enabling safe adoption, management and development of AI within organisations. The company cites insights from its State of AI Cybersecurity 2026 report, noting that 92% of security leaders are concerned about AI-powered threats and 73% say such threats already have a significant impact on their organisation.
It also highlights how AI is reshaping security operations, with 77% of security stacks incorporating generative AI, and 96% agreeing that AI can improve speed and efficiency, while 72% see AI excelling at anomaly detection.
The article explains four foundational use cases for SECURE AI—monitoring prompts, securing agent identities in real time, evaluating AI risks in development and deployment, and discovering Shadow AI—along with real‑time intervention capabilities such as blocking unsafe prompts and disrupting suspicious activity. It also describes autonomous response actions that can contain threats, for example by blocking connections to malicious endpoints and preventing HTA execution, as demonstrated in a ClearFake‑related case.
This blog, dated 3 February 2026, underscores Darktrace’s claim that securing AI is a natural evolution of its behavioural intelligence platform, with more than 10,000 customers relying on its technology. according to Darktrace
