Cybersecurity M&A Roundup: 34 Deals Announced in January 2026

SECURITYWEEK reports that 34 cybersecurity-related merger and acquisition deals were announced in January 2026, with a flurry of high-profile moves from players including CrowdStrike, Infoblox, JumpCloud, LevelBlue, OneSpan, and Radware. Notable deals include CrowdStrike signing a definitive agreement to acquire SGNL for $740 million and to buy Seraphic Security for roughly $420 million, adding in-session browser protection to Falcon for secure web and AI interactions.

Delinea is in the process of acquiring StrongDM to combine PAM with continuous, developer-first access for admins, devs, non-humans, and AI agents in hybrid and cloud environments, while Diligent acquired the Netherlands-based third-party risk platform 3rdRisk. Infoblox agreed to acquire Axur to enhance external threat protection against brand abuse, credential exposure and phishing, and JumpCloud announced the acquisition of MacSolution to expand in Brazil.

Other deals include LevelBlue’s acquisition of Alert Logic’s managed services business, OneSpan’s plan to buy Build38 to bolster mobile app protection, OVHcloud’s acquisition of Seald, Radware’s purchase of Pynt for API security, and ThreatModeler’s acquisition of IriusRisk for $100 million.
