ALT5 Sigma sues former consultant over alleged data breach

According to Street Insider, ALT5 Sigma Corporation filed a lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court on 4 November 2025 against Wellington Peel, LLC, Jean-Francois Amyot, Hugues Benoit and Prime Delta Corp., seeking a temporary restraining order and injunctive relief related to alleged unauthorised access of company information.

The company said it discovered on 23 October 2025 that a former consultant, who had formed a competing business, accessed and transmitted company emails and files to an affiliated entity from his company email account without authorisation. ALT5 Sigma terminated the consultant’s access to all company email and systems after the discovery.

Forensic experts were engaged, and the investigation revealed on 29 October 2025 that the former consultant’s unauthorised access to and downloading of company files, emails and data was broader than initially understood and may have had a material adverse effect on the company. The post notes that a complaint is merely allegations that have not been tried or proven.
