AI SPERA Joins INTERPOL Initiative to Share Cybercrime Intelligence
AI SPERA, the company behind the Criminal IP cyber threat intelligence and attack surface management platform, signed a cooperation agreement with INTERPOL under its Gateway initiative on 27 October 2026. The agreement creates a framework for sharing information and technical expertise relevant to cybercrime analysis.
Established in 2019, Gateway enables INTERPOL to exchange cyber threat intelligence securely with trusted private sector partners, including cybersecurity firms, technology providers and financial institutions. Partners can supply indicators of compromise, analysis of threats and information about cybercriminal tactics and techniques. INTERPOL assesses contributions alongside other intelligence to develop investigative leads, which may be shared with member countries affected by a threat.
AI SPERA plans to provide threat data, analysis and technical expertise. Criminal IP supplies intelligence on IP addresses, domains and internet-exposed assets, which can help analysts investigate suspicious infrastructure and identify links between threats. The cooperation is intended to support intelligence development for cross-border investigations.
Criminal IP CEO Byungtak Kang said the company would contribute its capabilities to the initiative; the announcement did not describe specific investigations or results.
