Trend & AWS Partner on Cloud IPS: One-Click Protection

Trend Micro has unveiled a native integration with AWS Network Firewall via AWS Marketplace managed rules, enabling Trend-managed IPS rule groups with a single click and requiring no additional deployment or infrastructure changes. According to Trend Micro, users can now activate these rule groups within AWS Network Firewall to deliver out‑of‑the‑box, continuous protection backed by Trend’s threat intelligence.

The solution is powered by Trend Micro’s Digital Vaccine program, which delivers updated IPS filters that cover malware, active CVEs, and exploit techniques. The company notes that Trend owns the Zero Day Initiative, responsible for discovering 73% of vulnerabilities globally, which supports faster identification and response to emerging threats. The approach is designed to be frictionless for security teams, offering IPS as a service delivered natively and updated continuously to align with cloud speed.
