THE curl project has announced a month-long pause on accepting vulnerability reports, dubbed the "curl summer of bliss," from July 1 to August 3, 2026, to allow the team to rest after extensive workloads. During this period, urgent issues will still be addressed only for customers with paid support contracts. Other open source maintainers are invited to consider similar breaks. Key details include that version 8.22.0 will be released two weeks late, and normal reporting procedures will resume after August 3.
