Data Breach at Doctors Imaging Group Impacts 171,000 People

Doctors Imaging Group, a radiology practice with locations in Palatka and Gainesville, Florida, is informing customers about a data breach that occurred nearly a year ago. According to a data breach notice posted on its website, hackers had access to its network between November 5 and November 11, 2024, with attackers copying some files from compromised systems.

The investigation was completed in late August 2025, and the group has informed the US Department of Health and Human Services that the breach impacted more than 171,000 individuals. Doctors Imaging Group said the information exposed could include names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial and patient account numbers, medical and health insurance information, as well as medical treatment and claim details. It’s unclear if the attackers were a ransomware group, and no known cybercrime gang has claimed credit for the attack.
