Microsoft rolls out monochrome Copilot for Office enterprise apps

Microsoft has redesigned its Copilot tool within Microsoft 365, implementing a monochromatic aesthetic that emphasizes legibility and coherence across applications. The interface has been simplified to a text-oriented layout, reducing color and distractions to enhance productivity. Copilot will have a unified sidebar in all Office apps, aiming to eliminate cognitive friction.

The dynamic prompt surface has been adjusted for fluidity, allowing real-time adaptation to user input while providing context-specific features. Notably, this design is tailored for enterprise use, contrasting with the vibrant design of the consumer-facing mobile Copilot application.
