Zafran Security Raises $60 Million in Series C Funding
Zafran Security announced on 2 December 2025 that it had raised $60 million in a Series C round, bringing the company’s total funding to $130 million. The New York City‑based cybersecurity startup, founded in 2022, uses an AI‑native exposure management platform that relies on autonomous AI agents to identify and remediate weaknesses across the vulnerability management lifecycle.
The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with additional participation from Cyberstarts, Knollwood Investment, PSP Growth, Sequoia Capital, and Vintage Investment Partners. The company said it would use the funding to accelerate product innovation and global expansion.
According to SecurityWeek, the investment positions Zafran to help organisations act before exposures can lead to an incident as threat actors weaponise newly disclosed defects, with agents autonomously discovering asset ownership, assessing patch impact, and deploying automated fixes.
