Florida senator sues Booz Allen over his leaked tax returns

Florida senator Rick Scott is suing Booz Allen Hamilton and a former employee of the contractor for damages after his tax returns were leaked alongside those of thousands of people, including President Donald Trump. The suit alleges a reckless failure to prevent the unlawful release of private tax information. Scott, a Florida Republican, said he was disgusted by what he described as the weaponisation of government under President Joe Biden and vowed that Booz Allen would be held to account.
