ServiceNow's Acquisition of NHI Provider Veza Strengthens Governance Portfolio

ServiceNow has announced plans to acquire non-human identity management provider Veza, a move aimed at strengthening its governance, risk, and security offerings. The deal is believed to be valued at roughly $1 billion, with Veza previously quoting an $800 million valuation after a Series D funding round.

ServiceNow plans to integrate Veza’s Access Graph into its ITSM, HR, and customer service workflows to manage machine identities, including agents, API keys, and tokens, and to provide a unified dashboard for security and risk teams. The integration will pair Veza’s graph with ServiceNow’s Knowledge Graph to expose data from the system of record and expand access governance across the platform, a shift described by executive VP Pablo Stern as enabling visibility, control and automation at enterprise scale.

Veza’s co-founder Tarun Thakur highlighted the aim of bringing identity security deeper into ServiceNow’s architecture, with the deal aligning with the broader aim of native identity governance within the NOW platform.
