ServiceNow to Acquire Identity Security Firm Veza in Reported $1 Billion Deal
ServiceNow announced it has agreed to acquire Veza Security in what SecurityWeek reports as a deal worth more than $1 billion. The Information last week reported advanced talks to buy Veza for more than $1 billion, and ServiceNow has not disclosed contract terms, with a lack of outright denial suggesting the figure may be accurate according to SecurityWeek. Veza Security, which emerged in 2022 and has raised $235 million to date, was valued at $808 million after a $108 million Series D round.
The Veza platform delivers identity security capabilities including non-human identity management, SaaS access security, identity security posture management, privileged access monitoring, and cloud access management, powered by an Access Graph that maps relationships across human, machine, and AI identities.
ServiceNow said the acquisition will extend its security and risk portfolios and strengthen identity and access controls across applications, data, cloud, and AI agents, including enhancing its AI Control Tower for governing what AI agents can access and do.
