HERD Security today announced raising $3 million in a funding round led by Aspiron Ventures, with additional support from ForwardSlash VC, Forum Ventures, Rightside Capital, Team Ignite and YPO. Founded in 2025, the San Francisco-based company has built an agentic AI platform that provides continuous security training and simulation, enabling security and GRC teams to deliver interactive microlessons to employees across Slack, Teams and LMS.

The platform can parse imported policies, security data and compliance frameworks to immediately generate micro-training based on an organisation’s needs and deliver it across existing tools as text, images, videos, or conversational AI. Herd says the approach increases security awareness within organisations and strengthens the human layer of defence by ensuring every interaction boosts practical learning.

Husbanding the new funds, the company will expand training categories across HR and AI, optimise its video generation capabilities, and grow its partnership ecosystem, according to SecurityWeek. Brandon Min, co-founder and CEO, said threats evolve daily and organisations require tools that turn knowledge into relevant programmes that engage employees when it matters most. 6 May 2026.
