Anthropic files for Nasdaq listing amid $2 trillion valuation hopes

Anthropic has officially filed its S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, outlining plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker ANT. The filing, reported by Do Son of SecurityOnline[.]info, states that Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley will serve as joint lead underwriters. The piece suggests investors are eyeing a historic valuation between $1.8 trillion and $2 trillion, framing Anthropic as a “premier publicly traded pure-play artificial intelligence enterprise.”

The prospectus, as described in the article, records rapid top-line growth alongside substantial cloud and compute commitments. It notes revenue of $16.29 billion in the first half of 2026, with Q3 revenue up 45% quarter-on-quarter to $16.8 billion, a haul described as eclipsing the entire prior half-year’s earnings.

The filing also reports a net accounting loss of $80.7 billion for H1 2026, with roughly $72 billion of that figure attributable to non-cash charges from earlier financial instruments, while tangible infrastructure investments reached $9 billion.

On the risk side, the article highlights three commercial vulnerabilities: potential compute rationing or repricing by hyperscale cloud partners wary of Anthropic as a competitor; customer concentration risk, with two clients comprising about 20% of revenue; and possible catastrophic safety liabilities tied to autonomy alignment challenges, with management warning that damages from severe breaches could exceed corporate insurance limits.

The piece also notes Anthropic’s Public Benefit Corporation status and a multi-class share structure intended to shield founders from external pressures as a public trading debut approaches in mid-November.
