Autonomous Offensive Security Firm XBOW Raises $120M at $1B+ Valuation

ACCORDING to SecurityWeek News, autonomous offensive security company XBOW has raised $120 million in a Series C funding round to scale its AI-powered platform that autonomously discovers and validates software vulnerabilities, valuing the business at over $1 billion. The round was led by DFJ Growth and Northzone, with participation from Sofina, Alkeon Capital, Altimeter, NFDG Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.

Based in Seattle, XBOW says the new capital will accelerate expansion, product innovation, and international growth, bringing its total funding to $237 million. The company’s platform uses AI reasoning and adversarial workflows to continuously test applications for security flaws, operating autonomously to identify and validate vulnerabilities at machine speed and providing reproducible proof of findings.

XBOW’s leadership notes that the system is designed to work alongside security experts, automating exploration and validation so teams can focus on investigation, judgment, and remediation. The firm was founded by Oege de Moor, with Nico Waisman as CISO, and has demonstrated its capabilities by topping the HackerOne leaderboard.
