AppViewX launches standalone quantum cryptography risk platform
AppViewX has announced that its Quantum Trust Hub is now available as a standalone solution, designed to help enterprises discover cryptographic assets, assess quantum-related vulnerabilities, and prioritise risks by business impact, with remediation workflows integrated into existing ITSM tools. The update introduces an agentless-first discovery approach that leverages organisations’ current security infrastructure, enabling detection of cryptographic assets without additional sensors.
Users can also upload Cryptographic Bills of Materials (CBOMs) and Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) from third-party tools to build a single, unified inventory of cryptographic assets, feeding into remediation planning and execution through familiar ITSM workflows, notably sending findings as ready-to-work tickets to ServiceNow.
The expansion targets the post-quantum transition, emphasising continuous visibility across certificates, TLS configurations, cipher suites, keys and code libraries to map cryptographic exposure beyond what traditional certificate inventories show. AppViewX positions Quantum Trust Hub as a vendor-neutral platform that consolidates findings from existing tools and third-party inventories to support risk-based remediation prioritisation and ongoing posture monitoring.
The vendor cites upcoming PQC deadlines, including NIST’s standards and a 2030 phase-out plan for RSA and ECC, with federal migration deadlines under Executive Order 14412 guiding high-value assets toward PQC by 2030 and digital signatures by 2031.
New capabilities include a Qualys integration alongside existing Tenable support, and the ability to classify assets as quantum-vulnerable or quantum-resistant with executive dashboards and direct ITSM remediation, enabling faster responses to evolving standards and threats.
