GOOGLE’S September 2026 Pixel Drop expands scam detection beyond Google Messages to notifications from third-party chat applications. The cross-app protection is being introduced in 10 markets: the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, Germany, Mexico, Japan and France. When the system identifies a potentially fraudulent message, it displays a warning in the notification centre.
