Cloud Security Startup Native Exits Stealth With $42 Million in Funding

ACCORDING to SecurityWeek News, cloud security startup Native has emerged from stealth with a total of $42 million in funding, including a $31 million Series A led by Ballistic Ventures with participation from General Catalyst, YL Ventures, and Merlin Ventures, as of 18 March 2026. Phil Venables, former CISO of Google Cloud and now a venture partner at Ballistic Ventures, has joined Native’s board of directors.

Native’s platform translates a company’s security policies into provider-specific controls that can be enforced across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, rather than adding new monitoring tools. The company was co-founded in 2024 by Amit Megiddo, Gal Ordo and Eyal Faingold, and currently employs 41 people across Israel and the US, with plans to reach about 90 by the end of 2026.

Megiddo said the aim is to help security teams define policy intent and have it enforced everywhere as environments change, enabling faster business movement within a secure framework.
