Aikido Security Raises $60 Million at $1 Billion Valuation
According to SecurityWeek, Aikido Security, a Belgium-based startup that helps developers create secure applications, has raised $60 million in a Series B at a $1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to more than $84 million. The round was led by DST Global, with participation from PSG Equity, Notion Capital, and Singular, and will be used to enhance and expand Aikido’s offering.
The company has developed a platform that enables organisations to add security across the entire software development lifecycle, including scanning, code-to-cloud visibility, offensive security testing, and in-app runtime defence and detection capabilities. Aikido says its platform is used by more than 100,000 teams. The funding news comes as the startup emphasises its aim to evolve security tooling to keep pace with modern, rapid build cycles. Eduard Kovacs of SecurityWeek notes the broader context of cybersecurity funding in 2025, with the article dated 14 January 2026.
