SEATTLE-BASED data loss prevention (DLP) startup MIND has announced a $72 million Series B funding round, taking its total investment to $112 million. Crosspoint Capital Partners led the round, with participation from existing investors YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group. MIND emerged from stealth in 2024 with an AI-native platform designed to protect customer data across enterprise environments.

The company says its platform detects and blocks attempted data exfiltration in real time across email, endpoints, generative AI and SaaS deployments. It uses multi-layer classification to assess content and context, while AI agents investigate events, tune DLP policies and address issues. MIND plans to use the new funding to accelerate platform development, expand into key enterprise markets, strengthen partnerships and grow its team.

CEO and co-founder Eran Barak said organisations are facing data movement “at AI speed”, while existing DLP tools were designed for a slower environment. The announcement describes the platform’s capabilities and intended use but provides no evidence of a specific attack or confirmed exploitation.
