A US commercial bank has disclosed to the Securities and Exchange Commission that it revealed customer data to an unauthorized AI application, according to the report published on 12 May 2026. Community Bank, which operates in southwestern Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia, filed an 8-K with the regulator, saying it has launched an internal investigation that remains ongoing.
