Announcing Cloudflare Email Service’s private beta
Cloudflare has announced the private beta of its Cloudflare Email Service, expanding its Email Routing capabilities with a new Email Sending feature that lets developers dispatch transactional emails directly from Cloudflare Workers. The service aims to create a unified developer experience for email, combining sending and routing to support end‑to‑end workflows, including processing inbound mail and storing attachments in R2.
Cloudflare emphasises deliverability and time-to-inbox, noting automatic DNS configuration for SPF, DKIM and DMARC to help providers verify sending domains, and highlighting global, low‑latency delivery without server management. Email Sending will require a paid Workers subscription, with pricing based on messages sent, though final packaging and pricing remain to be confirmed and documented in due course.
The update also explains how Email Routing can be used alongside Email Sending to create sophisticated, automated flows—such as parsing inbound emails with Workers AI or creating support tickets from emails. The company says the Email Service will be available in private beta this November as part of its developer platform. 25 September 2025.
