FRENCH authorities arrested an 18-year-old man associated with the hacking group ZeroBytes, which was responsible for attacks on government services and companies in France. The suspect, known online as 'ChatNoir', had a history of cyberattack investigations while a minor and was under judicial supervision when detained on August 18, 2023. A second suspect, under 16, was questioned and released after investigators examined his computer equipment. The case was disclosed by the Paris prosecutor’s office on September 4.
