Affected accounts included those of notable figures and organizations, leading to temporary hijacking and defacement.

Although Meta issued an emergency patch, security experts warn about the risks associated with AI in customer support roles without appropriate safeguards. Users are advised to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) to better protect their accounts.
