MICROSOFT has announced that it will gradually end support for Windows 10 versions 21H2 and 22H2 along with updates for OneDrive. Support for Windows 10 version 21H2 will end in August 2026, while version 22H2 will cease support by October 2028. Following these dates, OneDrive will not receive new features, bug fixes, or security patches, although existing functionalities like downloading and syncing files will still work temporarily.
Users are advised to switch to the online OneDrive web portal for continued file access, as desktop syncing may eventually be disabled. This decision aligns with the overall lifecycle of Windows 10.
