Excerpt

partner who attacked them - DataBreaches.Net

#LockBit has formally apologized for the attack on the Hospital for Sick Kids in Canada that took place on December 18. The hospital is still trying to recover from it.

“We formally apologize for the attack on sikkids.ca and give back the decryptor for free, the partner who attacked this hospital violated our rules, is blocked and is no longer in our affiliate program. ”

While I am glad to see this, they do not explain why it has taken them 13 days to do this.

As of the hospital’s December 29 update, they had restored 50% of priority systems.
