THE Silent Ransom Group (SRG), also known as Luna Moth and UNC3753, is a cyber extortion group uncovered by Resecurity, which revealed their Fast Flux infrastructure targeting U.S. law firms and businesses. This group has been active since 2022 and focuses on stealing sensitive data rather than encrypting files. Recent intelligence indicates SRG's operations rely on compromised IoT devices, with Fast Flux nodes identified in various regions, including Latin America and Eastern Europe.
The FBI issued an advisory about SRG's ongoing attacks through social engineering. Additionally, experts noted SRG's use of unique tokens to secure their Data Leak Site and linked their infrastructure to emerging underground projects like Spy Corporate.
