FRANCE'S Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP) reported a data breach affecting around 680,000 individuals. Unauthorized access occurred due to compromised credentials of an employee and a third-party account between June and July. While the breach included tax-related information, no usernames or passwords were leaked. The agency is investigating the breach's scope and will inform those affected.
This incident follows a cyberattack on Romania's National Agency for Cadastre and Property Registration that disrupted operations and resulted in data loss.
