French Tax Authority Confirms Breach After Identity Misuse

FRANCE'S tax authority confirmed a data breach in which hackers accessed the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP), extracting data from individuals and businesses. The breach, detected in late June, occurred after an attacker misused someone's identity. Following the incident's public disclosure by a hacker group, ZeroBytes, additional security measures were implemented to prevent further unauthorized access.
