IN Other News: N8n Flaw Exploited notes that CISA has added a vulnerability in the open source workflow automation tool n8n to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, tracked as CVE-2025-68613, which allows remote code execution and appears to be the first of the disclosed n8n flaws exploited in the wild, with no public information about the attacks yet available.

IBM researchers have identified a new malware, Slopoly, likely generated by AI, used in the later stages of an attack by Hive0163, a financially motivated group known for Interlock ransomware. The Interpol-led Global cybercrime crackdown, Operation Synergia III, dismantled more than 45,000 malicious IP addresses and servers across 72 countries, resulting in 94 arrests and 110 suspects under investigation. The roundup also involved threat intelligence support from cybersecurity firms such as Group-IB.

According to Interpol, this stream of coordinated takedowns highlights the growing role of AI-assisted tools in crimeware and the continuing international effort to disrupt criminal infrastructure.
