CARECLOUD , a healthcare IT company, has informed at least 350,000 individuals about a data breach affecting its electronic health record system. The breach occurred between March 10 and March 16, 2026, when hackers accessed a compromised AWS environment. An investigation confirmed that personal, financial, and medical data were stolen, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and more.
Notification letters have been sent to affected individuals, and reports were filed with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation.
