CEVA Logistics experienced a cyberattack on July 29, disrupting operations at eight warehouses in Europe and halting shipments. The company informed customers on August 1 of the shipment delays related to the attack, which has not been linked to a known ransomware group. The incident also resulted in a potential data breach, exposing personal information of customers, including names and contact details, although sensitive financial data remains secure.
Affected organizations, such as the Dutch department store De Bijenkorf, reported similar data exposure. A hacker has also allegedly offered CEVA's compromised database for sale on the dark web, potentially containing critical supply chain information.
