HADRIAN , the Amsterdam-based maker of an AI-native offensive security platform, has raised $40 million in a Series B round, bringing total funding to $65 million. The new cash — co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin with participation from HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures — will be used to expand Hadrian’s engineering and research teams and extend its geographic reach across Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as the United States.

The company sells an agentic security platform that continuously discovers, validates and prioritises externally exposed cyber risks using AI agents. Atlas maps an organisation’s external attack surface, while Nova provides on-demand agentic pentesting.

Hadrian says its approach helps defenders operate at machine speed, addressing the gap where “attackers move at machine speed, but many security teams are years behind.” The firm claims its customers gain about 10 times greater visibility into critical risks, five times higher ROI than manual pentests, and an 80% faster time to remediation.

It notes that 87% of organisations still rely on manual penetration testing, and that only 0.47% of vulnerability scanner findings are genuinely exploitable, highlighting the potential efficiency gains from automated, continuous testing.
