AMSTERDAM-BASED industrial cybersecurity firm Indurex has raised €7 million (roughly $7.84 million) in a round led by Contrarian Ventures, with Axeleo Capital and Curiosity participating. The funds will be used for research and development and to expand commercial operations across Europe and the Middle East, with aims to follow in the United States and Asia-Pacific.

Indurex develops security software for cyber-physical systems used in critical infrastructure and industrial operations. Its SafeGuard AI platform aggregates data from distributed control systems, safety instrumented systems, process historians, alarm management systems and IT security tools to identify anomalies and changes to engineering configurations, protection settings and safety functions that may require operator attention.

The company argues this approach fills gaps in conventional OT security tools by bringing engineering, process, safety and cybersecurity data together to allow operators to assess security alerts within the physical context of their systems.

Indurex, which emerged from stealth in January 2026, was founded by Jalal Bouhdada (CEO) and Maarten Oosterink (COO) and already lists energy and manufacturing operators among its early customers, spanning mid-sized to multinational organisations, including utilities and data centre operators.
