GOOGLE released Chrome 152 updates addressing 12 vulnerabilities, including a high-severity zero-day (CVE-2026-85046) that can allow remote code execution through its V8 JavaScript engine. The vulnerability was reported by a researcher who received a $1,000 bounty. This represents the sixth zero-day patched in Chrome in 2026. The updates also corrected nine other high-severity bugs related to various memory errors and improper resource management. Chrome versions for Windows, macOS, and Linux have been updated to resolve these issues.
