The breach, confirmed in April 2026, affects data such as names, contact details, birth dates, Social Security numbers, and health information; however, no evidence suggests the data has been publicly leaked. Medtronic's operations and patient safety were not compromised.
The company has implemented incident response procedures and is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring and identity theft recovery services to affected individuals.
